Welcome to the website for Green Girl Herbs & Healing. In these pages you will find information on upcoming
classes, herbs, newsletters, and links to environmental sites and other important information. Most pages contain
photographs taken throughout the Hudson Valley in Upstate New York. Many were taken in the Catskill and
Shawangunk Mountains. My wish is that in addition to finding needed information on these pages that you will
also find a brief respite from your routine and enjoy the changing and beautiful landscape of nature illustrated
here.
Green Girl Herbs & Healing was an idea born in the mountains and wild places of the Hudson Valley. Hard to
believe but yes, there are still some of those left. Green Girl Herbs & Healing is the “spirit child” of Karine
Gordineer, herbalist, shamanic practitioner, backpacker, photographer and all-around nature enthusiast. It is an
idea and a dream to help people heal and find balance through deep relationship with the Earth and by utilizing
natural healing methods. It is also a prayer for the Earth that as we heal so will the Earth heal.
The Classes page outlines classes currently scheduled for 2009. This includes brief descriptions and information
for each class and will be updated as more classes are added. In addition to herbal classes, I offer classes in
shamanism, reiki, and other nature and Spirit oriented classes. If you would like more information on any class
or if you would like to sign up for a class or my email list, please use the "Contact Karine" link . The Healing
Sessions page details each healing modality that I work in and includes a description of each one. To schedule a
session or for more information, again please use the contact information link provided. Herb of the Moon is
updated every new moon phase and will include helpful information about a different herb each moon cycle.

This website has been an evolution of my beliefs, experience and desire to bring what I know to people in a way
that feels right and inspires those who will to seek a deeper relationship with Spirit and the Earth. My expectation
is that this website will continue to evolve as I do and as we all do.
